Ibrahim, a Sales Manager at BIC, is all smiles because he has found a solution to his problem of creating proposals.
He used to manually copy, paste every element of the sales proposals that he built carefully curating every document but he was always exhausted and needed a solution which could automate the entire workflow.
What he needed was an automation system that could not only help save his precious time but also produce Proposals PDFs with ease reducing manual errors and creating documents efficiently. He was using Notion as the centralized workspace where he managed his entire Sales Proposals workflow.
He tried finding solution everywhere, but eventually relied on PDFOutput which gave him the power of customization and creating the PDF design to generate Proposals with ease.
Let's hear from Ibrahim on how he uses PDFOutput in his workflow…
Can you briefly describe how your PDF automation workflow works?
Ibrahim's Response :
I have a system to track my clients and their proposals and projects in Notion and now I utilize Notion button automations and Notion's templates to create a one click ready to send proposals.
I just edit price and some little details to tailor the proposal then generate a pdf from a template that I made for that purpose in pdfoutput and I have multiple automations and templates made in pdfoutput for every service scenario.
My Verdict :
Yes, PDFOutput is a fantastic way to manage everything right within the notion database itself.
All you need is to setup the automation and simply mark a record as Ready to Generate and it creates the PDF right away.

In one or two sentences, how would you describe pdfoutput to someone like you?
Ibrahim's Response :
If you care about how you present yourself to your customers and you need a tool that automizes proposal generation then PDFOutput is what you need.
My Verdict :
Yes, PDFOutput has all the flexibility to create a custom template for your need to produce proposals with ease as per your requirement.
Simply edit your template source as per your requirement and it will be ready to be converted to a PDF mapping the data source with notion.
What has changed since using pdfoutput?
Ibrahim's Response :
It saved time worked from my side but probably it still take a bit of time to generate the PDF and I hope that Sanat finds a fix to speed up the generation of the PDFs.
My Verdict :
Yes, it indeed saves time for the users who are looking to produce PDFs at scale and for the time it requires to process the PDFs, this is due to the fact that multiple images and relational properties are processed at the same time to produce each PDF.
So, it would definitely consume some more time than usual to produce the PDFs.
What is your favourite feature of pdfoutput and why?
Ibrahim's Response :
My favorite feature is that Sanat is available and tries his best to fix issues and create new features to make the system useful.
My Verdict :
Thank you Ibrahim for your kind words, I always love to help my users in anyway possible with any issues and would be help any new features or implementations necessary.
What kind of PDFs are you generating with pdfoutput and what is the current volume of PDF generation?
Ibrahim's Response :
Mostly proposals but there are a potential for contracts and reports and many other uses but because contracts are on much lower rate than proposals I haven't seen an advantage yet to automate them but maybe in the future. Reports for teammates to track projects this might be used soon.
My Verdict :
That's great, automating every possible document which doesn't need manual effort is the endgoal. I hope to see all your document processes automated one day.
What were you doing before pdfoutput? What problem were you trying to solve?
Ibrahim's Response :
Having multiple word templates for each type of product and a CRM system to track activity on Notion and most the time I have to do the thing twice once on Notion then copy the data to the Word Document!
My Verdict :
Yes, manual copy and paste of the data onto any template source including a word document is actually time consuming and a repetitive process prone to erros.
This is the core reason of why I created PDFOutput to help the users save their time and energy and automate repetitive tasks especially operating at scale.
Which tools do you connect with pdfoutput? (e.g. Notion, Google Docs, Word, PDF)
Ibrahim's Response :
Notion, Google Docs to output PDFs
My Verdict :
That's a great choice of tools to use. You can even connect a Word File or a PDF File to generate a PDF. Adding either a Word File, PDF File converts the template source to a Google Document which can be edited to produce a PDF.
You can even use Google Slides which can be used to create PPT's at scale.
Summary
Ibrahim's workflow at BIC is a perfect example of what happens when you stop treating document creation as a manual task and start treating it as an automated process.
Before PDFOutput, Ibrahim was juggling multiple Word templates, copying data from Notion into documents one field at a time, and spending hours on work that should have taken minutes.
Now, with PDFOutput connected to his Notion workspace and Google Docs templates, he generates polished, client-ready proposals with a single click — and he has multiple templates ready for every service scenario.
If you're spending more time formatting proposals than actually closing deals, it's time to automate.
